Holding Rehearsals - note on ciné place-making - video

As the exhibition continues upstairs, on the first floor, in the triangular space, the work note on ciné place-making is presented. In the introduction to Rachida Brahim’s book La Race tue deux fois. Une histoire des crimes racistes en France (1970-2000), the author suggests that solidarity in the face of systemic and structural racism can only prevail if it speaks from a place that cannot be claimed. This short video interweaves Brahim's words, narrated in Sorani by Ferdous Sobhani, with a selection of film footage from the other works in the exhibition.
